Plain language, because there is no version of this that benefits from being hard to read. Using Astro-Log means you accept what's below.
What the service is
Astro-Log computes astronomical positions for a given date and place, compares them against a birth chart, and writes a short daily briefing about what it finds. The positions and times are calculated from a standard ephemeris and are accurate. The interpretation of what those positions mean is exactly that — interpretation.
What it is not
Astro-Log is for entertainment and self-reflection. It is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing in a brief is medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and it should not be used to make decisions that call for a professional. If a brief says the afternoon is bad for hard conversations, that is a prompt to think, not a diagnosis and not a forecast.
Your account
You need a working email address, and the birth details you give should be your own and accurate — the output is only as good as its input. Sign-in links are single-use and personal; don't forward them. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Free and paid
The shared sun-sign brief is free. New readers can also receive seven Natal mornings without a card; when that week ends, it does not become a subscription or charge automatically.
Natal costs $12 per month or $108 per year. Premium includes Natal plus weekly and monthly reports and costs $20 per month or $180 per year. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
Choosing a paid plan opens Stripe checkout. If you have not used that tier's free week, checkout may begin with a seven-day trial; Stripe shows the first charge date and amount before you confirm. Otherwise, the displayed amount is charged when you subscribe. Subscriptions renew monthly or yearly until cancelled. You can cancel any time in the Stripe billing portal and keep access through the trial or paid period already underway. A change from Natal to Premium may create a prorated charge or credit, which Stripe shows before confirmation.
Prices can change for future billing periods, but we will tell existing subscribers before a change applies. If a charge is duplicated, incorrect, or tied to a material service failure, contact us through support. Nothing here limits refund or cancellation rights provided by applicable law.
Paid introductory week
A separately labeled introductory offer may provide seven days of Natal for $0.99, followed by $12 per month until canceled. This offer requires payment details and your agreement at checkout; it is different from the cardless free week. Stripe shows the renewal date before purchase. Cancel in Settings → Billing before renewal to avoid the next charge; cancellation at period end preserves access through the purchased week. Pausing or unsubscribing from emails does not cancel billing. The introductory offer is available once per eligible account and does not replace an existing gift, free trial, or creator offer.
Gifts
A gift buys a subscription for someone else. The recipient enters their own birth details privately and the buyer never sees them. If the gift is never claimed, ask us and we'll refund it.
Golden tickets and referrals
Golden tickets are free promotional access, have no cash value, and are single-use. A golden-tree ticket may unlock five private 90-day tickets for the person who claims it; each friend who claims one gets five of their own. Valid tickets received from other people stack onto the end of an existing free-access period. An account cannot claim tickets issued to itself. We may revoke unclaimed links or end access obtained through automated signups, resale, impersonation, or other abuse. A valid claimed access period is not converted into a paid subscription and no card is charged when it ends.
Availability
We aim to send a brief every morning. We can't promise perfect delivery — email providers, push services and our own machines all occasionally fail. A missed morning is not a breach of these terms, though it is a bad day for us.
Ending it
You can unsubscribe from any email, pause delivery in settings, or ask us to delete your account entirely. We may close an account that is being used to abuse the service or anyone using it.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for decisions you make after reading a brief, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and contact
If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and subscribers get an email. Questions go through our support form, which reaches a person directly.
